27 Nov 2012 ~ Tues {photography trophy}

This morning Mommy attended a PTSA Reflections Ceremony at Witt's school;  he was invited due to his participation as a kindergarten photography category.  He won first place at the school level, but did not win at county.  However, today he recieved a TROPHY for first place + a spiffy red ribbon for showing at the couny exhibit!!  We were both so very tickled;  what a huge milestone!  Way to go Little Bear!!

{above} Witt studied Claude Monet in art the two weeks prior to Thanksgiving Break.  After viewing the Modern exhibit we went to the permanent European collection to see the High's two Monet works.

Witt placed his first word in Scrabble!

Marc is the champion at PLACING words, the strategy of Scrabble.  He also assisted Witt, so they placed 1st and 2nd and Mommy earned 3rd!  :-)  We had a lot of fun!

{Witt has been practicing his whistling skills for weeks.  Friday night on the way home from the JV basketball game he whistled in the Jeep and I nearly had a duck. Tonight he has whistled multiple times loud enough to hear him in another room!  We are simply delighted at his persistence!!  Yah Witt!}

First day of Thanksgiving Break and I finally uploaded Witt's school picture from the photo cd.  Our Little Bear's photo was taken the first week in October; the package arrived a few weeks ago. No time like the present!   [5 yrs ~ 39 lbs]
