28 Feb 2012 ~ Tuesday {sidewalk art}

Leaving school Tuesday, Witt saw this "heart" on the sidewalk. The two circles with "fog" around  them did look like hearts while walking.  He knelt down to make a heart with his hands and Mommy snapped this shot --- one of my favorites.  Upon closer inspection of the SIDEWALK ART Witt declared that it was actually icecream in a short cone.  :)

27 Feb 2012 ~ Monday {spring weather}

Monday was a glorious day with Spring-like weather (minus pollen);  when Mommy arrived at school to taxi Witt home, he was playing with this huge exercise ball on the playground!  :)

26 Feb 2012 ~ Sunday {blue teeth & lentil soup}

 

Witt received a blue lollipop at church today and decided to open it en route home;  our Little Bear had BLUE TEETH by the time we got home. :)

Mommy made Martha Stewart's Vegetarian Lentil Soup tonight from stratch -- delicious & quite filling!!  Rah Rah!!

25 Feb 2012 ~ Saturday {we are berkmar}

Our Berkmar Patriots beat Norcross HS Saturday night to advance to Georgia's Sweet 16 in the 5A Basketball Tournament!!  Go Pats!!  (Twitter #WeAreBerkmar)

24 Feb 2012 ~ Friday {batman's big shoes)

When Mommy arrived at school to pick up Witt Friday, she found BATMAN!!  (Adorable mask -- thank you, Ms. Loren!)

Batman found Daddy's shoes; they were a little uncomfortable, but fun to wear! 

20 Feb 2012 ~ Monday {just thinking}

Ilene & Witt Monday pm contemplating bedtime after a fun day of games in the backroom. Yah for Presidents' Day! 

15 & 17 Feb 2012 ~ Wed & Fri {mystery readers}

Marc was the Mystery Reader for Witt's class on Wednesday the 15th;  he had a ball!  The teachers said Marc was a natural with the children!!  :)  He is a great reader --- ask Witt!

Friday public schools were closed for a furlough day, so Mommy finally had an opportunity to be the Mystery Reader in Witt's class; he was so surprised!  I read HOP ON POP to begin the Dr. Seuss Celebration!

17 Feb 2012 ~ Friday {batman}

Prior to the Central v/s Berkmar game last pm (8AAAAA Tournament) Mommy snapped a few shots of Witt wearing his self declared FRIDAY FUN SHIRT as he explored gravity on the Shiloh HS sidewalk rails.  {By the way -- Berkmar won and we play Shiloh in the region championship game tonight in their home gym.  Go Patriots!}

14 Feb 2012 ~ Tuesday {animal crossing}

This morning I was en route to school when all of a sudden the railroad crossing sign started flashing. Begrudingly, I stopped. It was not just any train; it was the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus en route to downtown Atlanta! I'd never seen the circus train before -- very long and looked just like the one I found on the website.  Wow -- what a fun surprise on Valentine's Day morning! 

13 Feb 2012 ~ Monday {little old man}

Today was the 100th day of school at Pre-K;  the students had to dress as a 100 yr old person.  Witt was a retired old golfer in Florida.  :)  Marc hairsprayed Witt's hair white, but it was mostly gone by the time I saw the little old man after school.  Attached are a few pictures of our litte guy --- the kids and teachers had a ball!!  Happy Happy!!

Witt met former Atlanta Braves Otis Nixon after church today!!  Mr. Nixon told Witt to hold up #1 and asked if he knew how to CHOP;  Witt then CHOPPED for Mr. Nixon!!  :)
