28 May 2012 ~ Mon {Memorial Day}

Happy Memorial Day!  We ran a few errands and then drove to Your DeKalb Farmer's Market for lunch, grocery shopping, and coffee.  Yummy!  (We had a quite a few photo opportunities, but cameras are not allowed inside.  This photo is us rolling to the Jeep.)

We had a fire drill during Sunday School; here is the Little Bear calmly waiting for the ALL CLEAR call to re-enter church.  :)

Witt noticed this Madison Rest Room sign's girl had only one leg; he and Marc called her POGO GIRL.

We were surprised and inspired en route home on Hwy 278 to find this enormous American Flag waving above the road  --- just beautiful!

Our sweet friend, Maggie, snapped this shot of Witt peeking at his caught firefly  tonight.  Oh my -- what a fun text to receive;  Marc and I Ahhh--ed for a bit and decided this was worth sharing!

Witt's furry friends miss him;  he is visiting Poppy & Mimi and could not take all of his stuffed buddies.  Snowflake & Blue are keeping Ilene company during the day.

18 May 2012 ~ Fri {all done}

We celebrated the completion of Pre-K Friday!  (Little Bear is not so LITTLE anymore!)  He was happy to have us at school with him, but could not wait to jump into the ICE CREAM line.  In fact, he left his classroom before we did and we found him, bowl in hand, at the front of the line!  Next stop:  KINDERGARTEN!!
