3 July 2013 ~ Wed {patriotic parade}

Witt's summer camp has the BEST Patriotic Parade; this is our second year participating.  The campers and teachers go round and round the middle circle sporting red, white and blue homemade "floats" and hats!  This tradition screams THIS LAND IS YOUR LAND THIS LAND IS MY LAND.

Witt's last day of kindergarten!!  In just just three short

months our Little Bear will be in 1st grade;  Mommy cried.

Time is flying!

25 April 2013 ~ Thurs {Lost Tooth}

Really --- we lost the tooth!  Witt fell asleep on the way home from school after eating his snack. We stopped at Sam's Club; I was trying to unbuckle him and noticed blood on his sleeve. Lifting his chin I noticed the blood was coming from his mouth minus a loose tooth!  I woke him and we celebrated;  the tooth was found in the the floor mat.  As I  dusted his chest for a photo my hand tapped his arm and the baby tooth flew away. We searched everywhere and decided on a phone call with Daddy that the Tooth Fairy already had it in her care.  :-)

Witt turned SIX on the 22nd of March, but we celebrated is birthday on the 23rd. 

14 Jan 2013 ~ Mon {ME Wall}

Witt is the featured student from his kindergarten class this week. He was proud to write :  At the beginning of the year I could not WHISTLE, but now I can. :-)
