07.29.2010 Day Camp Finale

An EXPRESS TRAIN jumpy -- what a FUNtabulous way to end Circus Day Camp!

Look Mommy -- no hands!! :) Witt was so glad I ran by to see him jump in the train. He could not stop talking about the conductor's car -- this train was very deep and wide. This jumpy had slides in multiple sizes and lots of obstacles. What fun!!

07.26.2010 ~ Cupcake Face

Witt helped Mommy make chocolate cupcakes earlier today; he was able to frost and eat the first one. He really enjoyed his cupcake as you can tell by this photo --- CUPCAKE FACE!! :)

Apple Tree Loot

Witt has been blessed with wonderful Sunday School teachers since birth; this year was no exception. Today he received a bag of goodies from his current teachers. On the way home he said, "Mommy, the bag has everything I needed!" All three year olds need a party horn, chalk, play-dough and pretzels!! :) We took his picture in front of our Granny Smith Apple tree named BIG APPLE. Marc purchased and planted it on the 4th anniversary of the 09-11-2001 attacks on our country (DC ~ NYC ~ PA); we might be able to eat the apples from it this year!

07.21.2010 ~ Big Boy Witt!

Witt wanted to be a big boy after we parked at church tonight; Mommy unsnapped him from the car seat and then he hopped down to the floor board. Above he is making sure the door is open enough for both of us. :)

Witt is all smiles holding Birthday Baby Thomas with a Thomas the Tank Engine book under his Percy Crocs just before Mommy helps him from the Jeep. Tonight was Sundae Night in class -- sprinkles, chocolate syrup, M&Ms and vanilla ice cream!! Can you spell SUGAR HIGH?

Witt swings for the first time in a 'big boy' swing!

Witt & Marc went to see a VeggieTales movie at Snellville Oaks this morning; Witt was able to sit still for 45 minutes. Then the guys went to the park to play before swimming. Mommy followed her family to the theater and then joined them at the park/pool. Witt fell asleep on the way home -- exhausted from playing so hard!! What a fun day!!

Henri Matisse

Ok --- so he is not Henri Matisse, but he is Henry W. Glaser! :) Witt decided to start drawing at the beginning of his nap today. He yelled for me to come see his masterpiece --- a dolphin with a really long horn!! :) I praised him and then ran to get the camera. In his excitement he continued to draw the horn around the picture. However, if you look closely in the upper right hand corner you will see the dolphin (and its horn -- begins in the middle of the page and travels south) diving into the water. He then asked me to draw an elephant; mommy's masterpiece is displayed as well. :)

Daddy got home and decided to join the fun!! He drew MOMMY! Mommy was able to snap the shot before Witt could erase it.

Sunday, July 11th we meet our family in Rutledge GA at the Sunflower Farm -- what a treat! Then we traveled to the Madison Cracker Barrel for supper and to celebrate Poppy's birthday!
