1 April 2012 ~ Sun {beach patrol}

Witt quickly adjusts to his role as a Beach Bum. 

 Crocs are the BEST -- especially at the beach!

Learning opportunities have a way of presenting themselves;  Mommy decided that Witt needs to understand that we have a responsibility to keep the beach clean and safe for humans and the marine life.  So we're doing our part this week to keep the beach GREEN;  Witt and Mommy collected two bags of trash after supper Sunday pm. Additionally, Witt found an abandoned action figure and a beach toy!

31 March 2012 ~ Sat {road trip}

 All loaded and ready to hit the road;  bye-bye Daddy.

Witt did not move.  When we arrived at the Gulf Shores Wal-Mart, I put Witt in the grocery part of the buggy to play his Innotab. When we checked out, I had to put the bags around him.  He was ready to GET TO THE BEACH!

25 March 2012 ~ Sun {oh lolli lollipop}

Witt loves lollipops, but has a hard time finishing them in one sitting; he grew frustrated when a half-eaten lollipop "safely" placed in the middle of the train table disapeared or ended up on the carpet thanks to Big Sister Ilene.  We remind him all of the time that her eyes are not so great and she follows her nose.  A few weeks ago Marc created a safe place for Witt's "still good" lollipops. At last count we have five lollipops in the freezer door. Witt loves opening the door himself and enjoying his pick of lollipops!!  :)
