On our way to Gulf Shores we stopped at Toomers Corner at Auburn University to offer GET WELL wishes to the Oaks; while there we had lunch and then hit the road to the ocean.

Witt turns FOUR!

Witt opens birthday cards after supper on Thursday the 24th of March; Mommy was in the hospital with pneumonia on his official birthday. Poppy, Mimi, family & friends helped him celebrate while visiting middle Georgia.

26 February 2011 ~ Elmo's Birthday Party

Witt & I attended Elmo's Birthday Party at our local Borders Books two weeks ago. We had so much fun! He danced, participated in a sing-a-long, listened to Ms. Julie read and then had snacks. Ms. Raven, a photo journalist from the Snellville Patch, was present; she took a great shots of the party and Witt is featured in a few of them. 12 Feb 2011 Witt stamped the above Valentine on a sheet of copy paper; we scanned it to share with our family & friends. The few we are mailing will not hit the post office until Monday the 14th.

This morning we awoke to 6-8" of snow -- just beautiful!! After lunch we went out to play and a thin sheet of ice covered our snow blanket. Witt and I were unable to ROLL the snowballs; we just had to pack them. Our packed snowballs were GREAT for tossing!
